Special hotel prices have been arranged for the ALT and DS participants in the Hotel Budapest.

Hotel fees include buffet breakfasts and VAT, but exclude the local tax - 3% of the accommodation cost:

Getting to Budapest

 

By air

Regular international flights to Budapest (Ferihegy) Airport  arrive at and depart from Terminal 2A or Terminal 2B (these terminals are just in a short walk from each other), or Terminal 1 in case of arriving by low fair airlines.

Airport Minibus Shuttle

The airport mini-bus service will take you anywhere in Budapest. Information desk (operator) for minibus service is found in the center of the arrival lobby. This door-to-door Airport Minibus Service is reasonably priced (one way ticket : approx. EUR 10, go-return ticket: approx. EUR 16.
The minibus service is located outside of the customs area. Travelers will purchase a voucher and proceed to the waiting area for the van to arrive. The wait is generally 10-20 minutes. Those who schedule round-trip transportation must call to re-confirm their return trip at least 24 hours in advance of their flight. For a ride to the airport you may contact the hotel reception desk.

Airport Taxis

Another way of getting to the city is by taxi. Recommended company is the airport taxi (Zóna Service). The Hotel Budapest is in zone 4, price is approx. EUR 22.

Public Transportation

Take bus #93 or bus #200 to Metro terminal Kőbánya-Kispest. The buses stop in front of the arrival lobby of both terminals. From metro station Kőbánya-Kispest, M3 (blue metro line) takes you to the direction of the city center.

To reach the Hotel Budapest change to M2 (red line) at Deák tér (intersection of metro lines) and go as far as Moszkva tér.  Here take either tram #18 or #56 (direction Hűvösvölgy) and get off at “Fogaskerekű Vasút” stop (two stops from Moszkva tér).

By train

From the three Railway stations - Déli, Keleti and Nyugati - the Hotel Budapest can be reached by metro. Take M2 (red) metro to “Moszkva tér” and change to trams #18 or #56, (direction Hűvösvölgy) and get off at “Fogaskerekű Vasút” stop (two stops from Moszkva tér).
