STRUCTURE OF THE CONFERENCE

The oral and the interactive presentations are scheduled between 24 (Monday) and 26 (Wednesday), August, preceded by workshops, on 23 (Sunday).
The official language of the Conference will be English.

The technical programme of the ECC'09 consists of:

• Plenary and semi-plenary sessions
• Mini-tutorials
• Invited sessions
• Regular sessions
• Interactive sessions
• Workshops

The plenary / semi-plenary presentations will be included in the programme upon invitation.

The invited sessions and mini-tutorials will be solicited based on the proposals of the invited sessions' and tutorials' chairs.

The regular sessions will compose the main structure of the technical programme.

The interactive papers (any combination of a poster, computer - based demonstration or demo) will go through the same peer review as the contributed papers and will be organised in interactive sessions, giving chance for the audience for discussions not available at a usual oral session. The authors are encouraged to produce and make use of appropriate posters and demos. Interactive sessions will be presented during a time slot equal to that of the parallel contributed papers' sessions.

The workshops will be selected from the proposals by the Programme Committee.
