Registration information

On-line registration and hotel reservation

On-line registration and hotel reservation are recommended.

Off-line registration

You may wish to register and reserve the hotel via fax or air mail. Please do not register both on-line and off-line. If you register off-line please complete the Registration Form and the Hotel Reservation Form, and return them to the HBM2004 Local Secretariat (fax: +361 386 9378, postal address: HBM2004 Local Secretariat, Éva Thiry, c/o SCOPE Meetings Ltd., H-1111 Budapest, Kende u. 13-17., Hungary).

Student registration

Students may register on-line as well. The proof of matriculation should be sent by fax separately.

Note:  Registration fee allows you to attend either fMRI or Multireceptor Course

Payment information

• Registrations will not be processed without payment.

• Payments can be made by credit card or bank transfer.

•  You will receive confirmation of your payment by e-mail.

1. Credit card:

American Express, EuroCard/MasterCard, and VISA are accepted.

2. Bank transfer

Payments by bank transfer should be sent to the following account of SCOPE Meetings Ltd.:

Please attach a proof of the remittance to the Registration Form and make sure that the name of each Conference participant is clearly indicated on all documents.

Please note:

- payments sent by bank transfer must be free of charges for SCOPE Meetings Ltd.

- the cut-off date for early and late registrations will be strictly enforced.

Cancellation/refund policy

In order to keep registration fees as low as possible, there will be no refunds for cancellation of the registration. However, you may substitute another delegate at no extra cost.

Cancellation of tickets (evening programs and tours) must be submitted in writing via post, fax or e-mail. Cancellations received before May 20, 2004 are subject to a 20% administrative fee. No refunds will be paid after May 20, 2004.

Hotel information

Block reservations for participants and accompanying persons have been made at special rates in several hotels of different categories. To benefit from the special rates quoted for Conference participants, reservations should be made via the HBM2004 Local Secretariat. After May 20, 2004 the availability of rooms cannot be guaranteed.

⁽¹⁾ This service is provided only if the reservations in those hotels exceed the number of 100.

General Conditions

- Hotel reservation should be done via HBM2004 Local Secretariat filling in and submitting the Hotel Reservation Form. No deposit is required and hotel fee is to be paid directly to the hotel. The reservation will be confirmed by the HBM Local Secretariat upon receipt of the registration payment.

- One night room rate will be charged in case of non-attendance or delayed arrival if a cancellation notice in writing is not received by the HBM2004 Local Secretariat on or before May 31, 2004.
