CONFERENCE REGISTRATION FEES


Important information about the conference fees, methods of payment, confirmation, cancellation and refund policy is given below. Please, read them carefully.

All amounts are in Euro and include VAT (25%).

SCOPE Kft. (the official congress organiser of MTNS 2010) will treat your personal data such as name, address and email as specified by the data protection law in Hungary. SCOPE Kft. is entitled to use these and to securely pass them along to third parties, should this be necessary in order to carry out a sales contract. Your personal data will for no other purposes under no circumstances, be passed on to third parties. Information and credit card transactions are processed through the secure WEB site of K&H Bank.

Important notice for authors:

Papers without
regular registration of one of the authors before 15 May will not be included in the Programme and the Proceedings.
Student registration fee does not qualify for registering a paper.

Mátyás Hill - caving tour

2½–3-hour-long crawling and climbing in the second longest cave in Hungary, Pál-völgyi–Mátyás-hegyi cave system, which is a real labyrinth situated mostly underneath the elegant residences of Budapest. The tours lead on unbuilt, natural parts of the cave, with the supervision of professional caving guides.  All the necessary equipment - overall, helmet, light - is provided. You can change your clothes in changerooms at the cave entrance. Though one has to crawl, climb, scramble or creep many times during the tour, no previous experience in caving is needed.

Sight-seeing in Buda - Castle area, visiting the Hungarian National Gallery

In the frame of a sight-seeing tour in the Castle District you will visit the main attractions of the area, such as the Fishermen’s Bastion, Matthias Church and the Hungarian National Gallery containing the largest public collection presenting the rise and development of the fine arts in Hungary. World-wide famous paintings from the late renaissance and baroque, furthermore, works of art from the 19th and 20th centuries are exhibitied in the museum.

Sight-seeing in Pest - visiting the House of Parliament


Budapest is one of the most exciting capitals of the world with a gorgeous geographic location, full of historical monuments and places of interest.
You will visit the most famous avenues, boulevards and buildings, i.e.,
Heroes' square, the Basilica, the magnificent neo-gothic Parliament, housing the Holy Crown of Hungary in the wonderful Great Vaulted Hall. You will have a guided visit in the splendid session room and the impressive staircase as well.

During the cruise on the River Danube you can enjoy magnificent views of historical Budapest and catch a glimpse of Margaret Island, the Parliament, the Hotel Gellért, the Liberty Monument, the graceful bridges and a number of stunning buildings of Budapest. Besides, you may taste traditional Hungarian meals and drinks.

FOLKLORE EVENT

We offer you a nostalgia night on 8 July at 8:00 p.m. at the Danubius Hotel Gellért in the Panorama Restaurant! You can experience how life was in Hungary back in the good old days! Our offer includes an all-you-can-eat buffet featuring the most traditional Hungarian dishes, premium Hungarian wines, draft beer, Palinka as much as You want, folklore  program with six dancers who represent our rich folklore heritage and a gypsy band plays all night long.

METHODS OF PAYMENT


Registrations will not be processed without payment. The registration fee is determined by the date the payment is made, not the date of registration. Payments shall be made in Euro to SCOPE Ltd by one of the following procedures.

1. Credit card

1.1. On-line payment: EuroCard/MasterCard, VISA Classic and Visa Electron will be accepted. On-line payment is available via on-line registration.

The on-line transaction is secured with SSL (128 bites secure code) through the website of the K&H Bank Rt. system.


1.2. Mail order/Off-line payment: EuroCard/MasterCard and VISA Classic will be accepted. When registering on-line, you authorise the Scope Meetings Ltd. (MTNS 2010 Secretariat) to charge your credit card using the Credit Card Form (.doc, .pdf).



2. Bank transfer

CONFIRMATION


The registration will be completed and confirmation will be sent by e-mail upon receipt of payment. Please, bring the confirmation with you to the Conference for presentation at the registration desk.

Cancellations received before 31 May 2010 are subject to a 20% administrative fee.
