Budapest is the upcoming center in Europe and can be reaceh from all European capitals within 3 hours by flight, from the US East Costs within 8-10 hours, and the West Coast within 12 hours. Budapest Ferihegy Airport is the largest one in the region and will continuosly be enlarged until 2009. For many European participants, Budapest can easy be reached by train and by car, as well.

A particular advantage of Budapest lies in the fact that Hungary can easily be reached not only by visitors from the "Western Hemisphere" but is accessible for visitors from a large number of Central and Eastern European countries with a rapidly increasing interest in the field of the history of science and technology but with less than optimal travel budget.

Most visitors will arrive at the Budapest Ferihegy Airport. The simplest means of transportation to any place in Budapest is via minibuses. This door-to-door Airport Minibus Service is reasonably priced (approx. EUR 8), comfortable and reliable.
